DGR Forged Racing Nuts are made of 7075 Aluminum Alloy. They are one of the highest strength aluminum alloys, with a tensile strength of 83,000 psi. Because of its strength to weight ratio, it is commonly used for aircraft and aerospace technologies. DGR Forged Racing Nuts come in a series of matte colors such as black, red, and blue. Both the �Racing� and �Speed� series are open in design.

So I noticed how light each lugnut was when I picked them up. I took off the first stock lug and even with the size being smaller, the DGR lug feels lighter. One on the neatest things that I noticed about the DGR is when I put one on and took it off to inspect it, I didnt see any blue chip away to reveal silver. Thats a big thing for me as I have had Lugnuts in the past that lose their color when put on and off a lot.

As for the Lugnuts:
Great set. My stock rims are spiced up a bit just from putting these on. I know if my initial idea for aftermarket rims goes as planned I will be getting a set of the black ones for my new wheels. As for now I will enjoy the subtle beauty of these.

To compare these to other aftermarket lugnuts I have used:
These are right up there with the Rays lugs that I had, except the DGRs didnt lose there color when I tightened it down and untightened it. I do feel that the quality is a lot better than a set of muteki's I had a while back. So if your looking for a nice set of light lugs, snag you a set of DGRs!!
